Paul has been visiting Portugal since he was three years old, and can do “a galinha põe o ovo” with the best of them. When he is not eating carne de porco alentjana he is somewhat sad, but consoles himself by planning his next travel adventure, enjoying a craft cocktail or wondering why Super Bock tastes so much better in Portugal than everywhere else.

Her family comes from the beautiful island of São Miguel in the Azores. She remembers running around the Parque de Terra Nostra as a kid and thinking that the caldeiras in the Furnas were too smelly. It’s a smell and memory that she now longs for as an adult.
